We believe that many customers always have this question: How can the printed color be different from the computer? In fact, this question is very simple, just two words: color difference. Next, let's talk about chromatic aberration problems and solutions.
The following are the reasons for the chromatic aberration problem:
Ink problem: The quality of the printing ink is the key to directly reflect the final effect. If the quality of the ink used by the printer is too poor, it will be difficult to print the effect required by the customer. The best choice is to use the special ink recommended by the printer manufacturer, which can save a lot of trouble and reduce the gap in the printing effect.
Picture problem: Before printing, please check whether the mode of the picture in Photoshop is RGB or CMYK. When using the printer to output the picture, change the mode of the picture to CMYK. Before the printer operator prints, it is best to conduct a sample test, until the desired effect is achieved, and then perform the formal printing. This can save materials and print out the product effect that satisfies customers in the shortest time.
Printer fuselage problem: If you want to print out the effect of the customer's requirements as quickly as possible, the performance of the printer itself is the most important role in the printer process. The higher the printing accuracy of the printer, the more realistic the printing effect, the less gap between the printing effect and the actual required effect.
Other problems: Color distortion is also related to computer color management, display resolution, printer resolution, and print media. Before printing, check whether the printer's nozzles have broken ink and whether the ink bottle is out of ink; check whether it is set to save ink or resume printing.
The above is basically the main reason for chromatic aberration. In fact, it is almost impossible to achieve consistency between the finished product and the design draft in actual production. It can only be as close as possible. So how to achieve the greatest degree of proximity and minimize the chromatic aberration problem?
1. Try to use high-quality monitors as much as possible or use designer monitors when viewing drafts.
2. The design company and the production company should try to use the same version of the design software, preferably CDR software.
3. The designer minimizes the color collision effect and avoids a lot of dark and deep tones.
